From Passion to Compassion

I realize February is the month of love, with pink and red hearts plastered all over merchandise at the store and kids bringing home boxes and bags brimming with Valentine's Day cards and candies. So it was kind of fun to leap into March's core value at our round table meeting last week. For those of you who were unable to make it, we missed you! And for those who braved yet more crazy Idaho winter weather to get there, thank you. I appreciated hearing what you're working on, and how you've managed to circumnavigate the expenses involved in throwing together a really fun Blue and Gold Banquet. I hope all the banquets go off as smooth as silk this month. Or as smooth as snow-covered roads after a rainstorm. (Perhaps that's a bit too smooth?!)

As I started to say earlier, March's core value moves us from Valentine's Day passion to the value of compassion. I'm a week slow getting my pack picks page up, but I hope it helps. And mark your calendar for next month's round table, slated for Thursday, March 9th, at 7:30, once again up at the Cresthaven chapel on the hill near the water tower. Take care, and drive safely --
